Restless Development and the Permanent Mission of Denmark to the UN, in partnership with UNFPA, the UN Major Group for Children and others are convening Two Youth Action Days just before the UN High Level Political Forum on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th July.
The two day training is designed for any young person or youth delegate attending the HLPF. They will enable participants to network and connect with peers from across the world, build knowledge and awareness on the HLPF, the skills you'll need to meaningfully participate in the Forum and form strong plans for how you can work with others to take action to hold leaders to account over the Sustainable Development Goals.
The 1st day of the training there were more than 70 yoth advocates attending from around 35 countries across the globe. For the whole they the agenda allowed participants to gain some more knowledge on UN Advocacy and structure, how they can contribute to the HLPF outcomes, furthermore there was a capacity building part where young people learned how to tailor effective advocacy messages and advocate for their causes which was led by the CSE Hub Coordinator – Peter.
