The Youth 20 (or Y20) is the youth engagement group for the G20, the leading forum of the world's 20 major economies. As the G20 does, each year the Y20 organizes a Summit that reunites youth from all over the G20 territories and guest countries, to debate and work on recommendation that reflect youth perspectives regarding the main topics and priorities chosen by the Presidency.
Coordinated by EIDOS Global and AISEC Argentina, the summit took place in Cordoba (Argentina) from 12th-18th of August. The four primary thematic topics discussed at this year's Y20 were the following: sustainability, education for 21st Century Skills, Entrepeneuship and Self-Employment, and the Future of Work.
The Summit also involved creative sessions that led to the establishment of a Social Innovation Warehouse, serving as an international resource bank for communities, local governments and individuals to find replicable and adaptable projects that can become solutions for the challenges they are facing. Search the platform and navigate through the projects that are already in motion around the world to find the one that suits you best and would help you face the issue on hand.
